Dear plant and garden enthusiasts, Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! The uses are endless with climbing plants and belong on a balcony, terrace, greenhouse and winter garden, even the smallest garden or pot plant collection. They beautify unsightly walls, planted fences, house walls and pergolas, serve as a privacy shield from prying looks or do you design a nice quiet spot in the garden. But what types of climbers we know?
Twiner
they form thin shoot axes, which either right or left to twist around branches, sticks and pergolas.
Climbing plants
form tendrils from leaf buds, roots or shoots. If they have once found suitable support, the tendrils twist mostly spiral around the found object.
Root climbers
bear aerial rootlets with those them permanently e.g., on walls properly anchored.
Sprawling climbers
have spines, thorns or barbed hooks with which they to grow through hedges, shrubs or climbing facilities and be thereby held on their surface. Sprawling climbers always need a climbing frame!
