Die bis zu 20 cm großen, langgestielten, gebogenen, pfeifenförmigen, bizarren dunkelviolett-braunen Blüten mit langer Röhre, cremefarbener Zeichnung und erweiterem ballonartigem Kelch, erscheinen in den Blattachseln
