Die bis zu 40 cm langen Blütentrauben bestehen aus zahlreichen, ca. 2 cm großen, dunkel purpur-schwarzen, 5-petaligen Schmetterlingsblüten, aus denen sich bis zu 10 cm lange und 0,5 cm breite Schoten mit bis zu 12 Samen entwickeln
