laubabwerfende, verholzende Schlingpflanze bis zu 6 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 15 cm langen, länglich-ovalen, an der Basis herzförmigen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die intensiv, nach Jasmin duftenden, trichterförmigen gelben, windmühlenartig angeordneten, 5-petaligen Blüten mit rotem Schlund erscheinen in dichten Büscheln in den Blattachseln
