laubabwerfender, mehrjähriger, verholzender Ranker bis zu 15 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 30 cm langen, gefiederten Blättern, bestehend aus 9-15 gegenständig angeordneten, bis zu 6 cm langen, länglich ovalen tiefgrünen Fiederblättchen. Die zart duftenden, hell- bis rötlich violetten Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 15 cm langen, hängenden Blütenständen
