schnellwüchsige, verholzende Kletterpflanze bis zu 20 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, 3-gelappten, bis zu 15 cm langen und 10 cm breiten, elliptischen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 10 cm langen, dunkel purpur-violetten, fast schwarz aussehenden Blüten erscheinen dicht gedrängt an bis zu 30 cm langen, ball- bis eiförmigen Trauben in den Blattachseln

Germination Temperature: ca. 25-28°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet

Fertilization: weekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 10-15°C + keep constantly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 0-5°C and just in larger intervals and small quantities so much water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: This is the only one Mucuna which I know, which can sprouting from the root ball again!
