caudexbildende, laubabwerfende, zweihäusige Kletterpflanze bis zu 1 m mit bis zu 9 cm langen und 7 cm breiten, elliptischen, am Rand gewellten, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 4 cm großen gelben Blüten erscheinen in den Blattachseln, gefolgt von kleinen orangefarbenen Früchten
