mehrjähriger, immergrüner, verholzender Ranker bis zu 15 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, breit ovalen bis elliptischen, glänzend mittelgrünen Blättern. Die duftenden, kleinen cremefarbenen, 5-petaligen Blüten erscheinen in achselständigen, vielverzweigten Rispen.
Die Wurzeln werden in der Volksmedizin genutzt!
