immergrüner Baum bis zu 23 m mit ca. 20 cm langen und 8 cm breiten wechselständig angeordneten, breit elliptischen, ledrigen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern mit auffälliger Nervatur und heller Mittelrippe. Die kleinen, nach Zitronat duftenden, gelben-orangefarbenen Blüten erscheinen in vielverzweigten, aufrechten, ca. 20 cm langen Rispen, denen bis zu 10 cm große, gelb-grüne, bei Reife orangefarbene Früchte folgen
