immergrüner, buschiger Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis zu 2 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, elliptischen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 5 cm großen, , intensiv duftenden, röhrenförmigen weißen Blüten mit sternförmig angeordneten Petalen erscheinen am Ende der Triebe. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich , eßbare, gelbe, olivenförmige Früchte mit süßem Brombeermarmeladengeschmack

Germination Temperature: ca. 25-28°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 4-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season regularly water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: acid potting soil or Rhododendron substrate + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constantly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 10-15°C, and just so much water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: Indoor and Bonsai suitable!
