Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:

Chinesische Lorbeerkirsche, Chinese Laurel, Bignay

immergrüner, zweihäusiger, buschiger Baum bis zu 10 m (auch am Naturstandort selten bis zu 30 m) mit ausladender Krone und wechselständig angeordneten, kurzgestielten, bis zu 23 cm langen und bis zu 10 cm breiten, elliptischen bis lanzettlichen, ledrigen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern. Die duftenden, rötlichen weiblichen Blüten erscheinen in endständigen, bis zu 18 cm langen Rispen, die ebenfalls rötlichen, männlichen Blüten erscheinen sowohl in den Blattachseln, als auch am Ende der Triebe in kurzen Ähren. Die ca. 1 cm großen eiförmigen bis runden, kleinen, eßbaren, von grün, zu gelblich über rot, bei Reife zu schwarz-violetten Steinfrüchte sitzen in bis zu 20 cm langen, hängenden Rispen. Je Fruchtstand befinden sich Früchte mit unterschiedlichen Reifegraden, deshalb auch die unterschiedlichen Farben
