Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:
Our shop will remain open until September 30, 2026.
The last day to place an order is September 25, 2026. Please feel free to use this time to secure your favorite seeds one last time.
Processing: All paid orders received by September 25, 2026, will, of course, be processed, packed, and shipped reliably as usual.

caudexbildender, immergrüner, ausladender Strauch mit bis zu 6 m langen Trieben und wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 10 cm großen, 2-gelappten, oftmals auch ungelappten tiefgrünen-mittelgrünen, unterseits rötlich gefärbten Blättern. Die strahlend gelben Blüten mit leicht gekräuselten Blütenblättern und herausragenden Staubfäden erscheinen in langen aufrechten Rispen

Germination Temperature: ca. 25-28°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 2-4 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season moderate water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,1%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constant slightly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 10-15°C and only so much to water that the root ball not dries out completely.
