caudexbildender, laubabwerfender Strauch bis ca. 1,5 m mit sukkulenten, fleischigen, grob gezähnten Blättern die sich aus 5-gelappten blau-grünen, unterseits flaumig behaarten Blättchen zusammen. Die kleinen, grünlich-gelben Blüten sitzen in lockeren Rispen, aus denen sich rote Früchte entwickeln
