langsamwüchsiger, immergrüner, dichtkroniger Baum bis zu 30 m (in Kübelkultur bis zu 3 m) mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 45 cm langen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern, die in sehr variablen Formen erscheinen. Die kreisrund angeordneten, röhrenförmigen, orange-roten Blüten erscheinen in Dolden, die einem Rad mit Speichen ähneln
