Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:

immergrüner, buschiger Strauch bis zu 3 m, seltener als kleiner Baum bis ca. 10 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 10 cm langen und 7 cm breiten, ledrigen, länglich ovalen bis elliptischen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, unterseits helleren, Blättern. Die zart duftenden, kleinen, weißen, 5-petaligen Blüten erscheinen in achselständigen Büscheln, gefolgt von kleinen, eßbaren, pink-weißen oder roten, ovalen Steinfrüchten. Jede Frucht enthält 1 eßbaren, nach Mandeln schmeckenden Samen

Propagation:	Seeds/Cuttings
Sowing Time:	all year round > only fresh seeds germinate reliably
Sowing Deep:	ca. 1-2 cm
Sowing Mix:	Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Alternative:	wrapped in a zip bag with damp sphagnum moss > until germination takes place
Germination Temperature:	ca. 24-29°C
Location:	bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time:	ca. 3-4 weeks
Irrigation:	in the growing season richly water
Fertilization:	monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests:	Spider mites, Scale insects > especially under glass
Substrate:	potting soil + 1/3 sand, 1/3 gravel or perlite
Culture:	bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constantly moist
Overwintering:	Older specimens at about 10-15ºC and according to the ambient temperature only so much water, that a slight bale moisture is maintained. Also in winter take care for plenty of light!
Note:	wind- and salt spray-tolerant!
