Vines & Climbers

The uses are endless with climbing plants and belong on a balcony, terrace, greenhouse and winter garden, even the smallest garden or pot plant collection. They beautify unsightly walls, planted fences, house walls and pergolas, serve as a privacy shield from prying looks or do you design a nice quiet spot in the garden. But what types of climbers we know?
Twiner
they form thin shoot axes, which either right or left to twist around branches, sticks and pergolas.
Climbing plants
form tendrils from leaf buds, roots or shoots. If they have once found suitable support, the tendrils twist mostly spiral around the found object.
Root climbers
bear aerial rootlets with those them permanently e.g., on walls properly anchored.
Sprawling climbers
have spines, thorns or barbed hooks with which they to grow through hedges, shrubs or climbing facilities and be thereby held on their surface. Sprawling climbers always need a climbing frame!
