stammbildende, kleine, kompakte Pflanze bis zu 25 cm mit niederliegenden und aufrechten, vierkantigen, gerippten Trieben. Die langgestielten, bis zu 16 cm langen, glockenförmigen, hellgelben über rötlichen bis purpurfarbenen Blüten erscheinen am Ende der Triebe und verströmen einen eher unangenehmen Duft
