immergrüner, tief verzweigter Strauch bis ca. 1,25 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, langgestielten, bis zu 15 cm langen, breit ei- bis herzförmigen, manchmal 3-gelappten, tiefgrünen, ober- und unterseits samtig behaarten und unterseits helleren Blättern mit gezähnten Blatträndern. Die langgestielten, ca. 2 cm ø gelben bis orangefarbenen Schalenblüten erscheinen in 4-blütigen Büscheln in den oberen Blattachseln

Note: Cut down possible in the spring for better branching
