caudexbildender, laubabwerfender, sukkulenter, oftmals mehrstämmiger Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis zu 3 m mit breitem, bis zu 2 m massivem Stamm und kleinen, eiförmigen, grau-grünen Blättern. Die duftenden, röhrenförmigen, 5-petaligen, weißen bis cremefarbenen Blüten erscheinen einzeln in den Blattachseln
