laubabwerfender, hoher Baum bis zu 25 m mit rissiger, flockiger, dunkelgrauer Rinde und wechselständig angeordneten, gefiederten Blättern, die sich aus bis zu 7 gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 19 doppelt gefiederten, länglich-ovalen, mittelgrünen Fiederblättchen zusammensetzen. Die kleinen, creme-weißen Blüten erscheinen in bis zu 9 cm langen Ähren in dichten Büscheln in den Blattachseln
