Pre-Treatment: scarify/roughen + soak ca. 24-48 h in lukewarm water
Sowing Time: all year round > spring/summer preferred

Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 20-25°C, with cooler temperatures, the germination is more evenly
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 2-4 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: weekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Aphids, Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 10-15°C + keep constantly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright or dark (deciduous) at about 0-5°C + temperature accordingly only in larger intervals + water in small quantities of the root ball is not completely dry.
Note: Aufgrund seiner Herkunft kann H. moscheutos an einem sonnigen Standort mit gutem Winterschutz auch ins Freiland gepflanzt werden. Die Pflanze zieht im Herbst ein und treibt ab April/Mai wieder aus.
