langsamwüchsiger Strauch oder Baum bis zu 10 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ovalen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, unterseits grauen Blättern. Die creme-beigefarbenen Blüten (männliche in 3-4blütigen Büscheln weibliche einzeln) erscheinen in den Blattachseln, denen extrem saure, bei Reife orange-gelbe Früchte folgen.
Die Früchte sind nicht nicht für den Verzehr geeignet!
