Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! immergrüner, kleiner Strauch bis zu 2 m mit kleinen, kreuz-gegenständig angeordneten, oberseits glänzend, unterseits helleren, sattgrünen Blättern mit auffälliger Äderung. Die zahlreichen Blüten mit rotem, zartbehaartem Kelch und schwarzvioletten Blütenblättern erscheinen hängenden kleinen Büscheln in den Blattachseln

Sowing Instruction
Propagation: Seeds/Cuttings
Sowing Time: all year round > spring/summer preferred
Sowing Deep: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 22-25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constantly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 10°C, and only so much water that the root ball not dries out completely.
Note: regular pruning (March, May and June) promotes better branching
