Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. Woodland Dorstenia
Synonyme: Dorstenia tetractis, Dorstenia unyikae, Dorstenia walleri

caudexbildende, immergrüne, sukkulente, kleine Pflanze bis zu 40 cm mit rosettenförmig angeordneten, gestielten, fleischigen, elliptischen bis länglich lanzettlichen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, unterseits helleren Blättern mit gekerbten Blatträndern. Die bizarren, kleinen, grünlichen Scheinblüten erscheinen auf langen Stielen in den Blattachseln

Sowing Instruction
Propagation: Seeds
Sowing Time: all year round
Sowing Deep: cover only slightly with substrate
Sowing Mix: Coir, cactus soil or sowing mix + 2/3 sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 22-25°C
Location: bright + keep constant slightly moist, not wet
Germination Time: until germination takes place
Irrigation: in the growing season moderate water + protect the root bale from heavy rain
Fertilization: monthly 0,1%ig with cactus fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20ºC + keep slightly moist only
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 10-15°C and only in larger intervals and small quantities so much to water that the root ball not dries out completely. During the leafless time keep almost dry.
Note: Indoor suitable!
