Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:
Our shop will remain open until September 30, 2026.
The last day to place an order is September 25, 2026. Please feel free to use this time to secure your favorite seeds one last time.
Processing: All paid orders received by September 25, 2026, will, of course, be processed, packed, and shipped reliably as usual.

schnellwüchsiger, hoher Baumfarn bis zu 16 m mit schlankem, braun-schwarzem Stamm und einer Krone aus bis zu 5 m langen Wedeln, bestehend aus gefiederten, oberseits tiefgrünen Blättern, die an der Basis mit dunkelbraunen Schuppen besetzt sind

Sowing Instruction

Sowing Time: all year round
Sowing Deep: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 20-25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 4-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season regularly water, always over the top of trunk + let not dry out!
Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei mind. 5-10ºC + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare vertragen Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt.
Note: Bei sonnigem Standort und/oder zu starker Sonneneinstrahlung verbrennen die Wedel sehr leicht und werden braun!
