Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:

Weihnachtsbaum, Christmas Bush

immergrüner Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis ca. 10 m (in Kultur selten bis zu 5 m) mit gegenständig angeordneten, langgestielten, 3-gelappten, ca. 7 cm langen, lanzettlichen, tiefgrünen, am Rand gezähnten Blättern und rosa- oder bronzefarbenem Neuaustrieb. Die weißen Blüten erscheinen in vielverzweigten Rispen am Ende der Triebe. Nach der Bestäubung durch Fliegen und Bienen fallen die Blüten ab, die Kelchblätter vergrößern sich, färben zu rosa-rot rund um die kleine Nuss, die einen einzelnen Samen enthalten. Zur Aussaat sollte somit die ganze Frucht mit Kelchblättern gesät werden!
