langsamwüchsiger, immergrüner, zweihäusiger Baum bis ca. 12 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, bis zu 8 cm langen, breit lanzettlichen bis elliptischen, glänzend tiefgrünen, nach Nelkenpfeffer duftenden Blättern. Die duftenden, kleinen, weißen Blüten erscheinen in pyramidenförmigen, vielblütigen Rispen in den Blattachseln, denen beerenähnliche, braune Steinfrüchte folgen

Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 25-28°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water + let dry between watering
Fertilization: weekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constant slightly moist
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare hell bei ca. 5-10º und der Umgebungstemperatur entsprechend nur leicht feucht halten. Temperaturen bis zu -2ºC werden kurzzeitig vertragen.
Note: drought-tolerant!
