immergrüner, kleiner bis mittelgroßer Baum bis ca. 15 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 12 cm langen, lanzettlichen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, am Rand gezähnten Blättern und glockenförmigen, weißen bis pinkfarbenen Blüten, gefolgt von auffällig blau gefärbten Beeren
Verwendung: Die Samen werden häufig zur Schmuckverabeitung verwendet!

Overwintering:	Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C and just so much water that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures around freezing point will be tolerated only for a short time.
