laubabwerfender, kleiner Baum bis zu 7 m mit flaschenförmigen Stamm und wechselständig angeordneten Blättern, bestehend aus paarig, gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die bis zu 7,5 cm großen, weißen Blüten mit gekräuselten Blütenblättern färben sich mit zunehmendem Alter in apricot bis gelb und erscheinen am Ende der Triebe
