mehrjähriger oder auch einjähriger, ausladender kleiner Strauch bis zu 90 cm mit gegenständig angeordneten, mimosenähnlichen, gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättern, die sich bei Berührung schliessen. Die strahlend gelben Blüten mit rotem Zentrum erscheinen einzeln oder in 2-4-blütigen Dolden in den Blattachseln

Fertilization: biweekly 0,1%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei mind. 10-15ºC + konstant leicht feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare bei ca. 0-5ºC und nur soviel in größeren Abständern gießen, daß der Wurzelballen nicht völlig austrocknet.
Note: drought-tolerant!
