immergrüner Strauch bis zu 2 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, gefiederten Blättern, bestehend aus gegenständig angeordneten, elliptischen, tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die leuchtend goldgelben Blüten erscheinen in aufrechten, verzweigten Blütenständen am Ende der Triebe

Propagation: Seeds/Cuttings
Pre-Treatment: soak ca. 12-24 h in lukewarm water
Stratification: ca. 3-6 weeks in moist sowing mix at 0-5°C in the fridge
Sowing Time: all year round
Sowing Deep: ca. 1 cm
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Alternative: in fall/winter in unheated greenhouse
Germination Temperature: ca. 22-25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season moderate + regularly water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Aphids, Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 10-15°C + keep evenly slightly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C, and just so much water that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures around freezing point are well tolerated.
Note: Frost can withstand up to -5°C, but no snow.
