caudexbildender, laubabwerfender Kletterstrauch mit 3-5-gelappten, bis zu 10 cm langen und 6 cm breiten, elliptischen bis umgekehrt eiförmigen, leicht fleischigen, unterseits samtig grauen Blättern mit gesägten Blatträndern. Die kleinen grünlich-gelben Blüten erscheinen an einem aufrechten Blütenstand in lockeren Büscheln. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich kleine, bei Reife samtige, rote Früchte
