einjähriger, kleiner, krautiger Strauch bis ca. 1,5 m mit fleischigen Stengeln und wechselständig angeordneten, gestielten, bis zu 10 cm langen und 5 cm breiten, ovalen bis elliptischen, am Rand gezähnten Blättern. Die kleinen, rot-orangefarbenen, dunkel gefleckten Blüten erscheinen einzeln oder in kleineren Gruppen in den Blattachseln
