immergrüner, vielverzweigter, kleiner, ausladender Strauch bis 1,5 m mit flachen, flügelartigen, dicht an den Zweigen sitzenden, ca. 2,5 cm langen blau-grünen Phyllodien. Der Neuaustrieb ist oftmals bronzefarben. Die ca. 0,8 cm ø großen, runden, dichten, tiefgelben Blütenköpfe erscheinen in den Blattachseln
