immergrüner Strauch mit überhängenden, kletternden Zweigen oder epiphytische Liane mit wechselständig und spiralförmig angeordneten, bis zu 12 cm langen und 4 cm breiten, ledrigen, verkehrt eiförmigen oder verkehrt eiförmig-länglichen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, unterseits hellgrünen Blättern. Der kleinen, langgestielten, grünlich-gelben Blüten erscheinen in dichten Büscheln am Ende der Triebe. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich rundliche, gestielte, strahlende rote Früchte in lockeren Büscheln

Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: until germination takes place
Irrigation: in the growing season regularly water + always free of lime with room temperature water
Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: slightly acid, humus substrate (pH 5.5 6.5) + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 20°C + keep constant slightly moist + high humidity
Overwintering: Older specimens bright with at least 15-20°C, and to water with warm rain water only so much that the root ball not dries out completely, and spray daily.
