immergrüner, dichtbelaubter, hoher Strauch bis ca. 3 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 15 cm langen 1,4 cm breiten, ledrigen, bläulich-grünen, unterseits zart behaarten, am Rand beidseitig grob gezackten Blättern und endständigen, aufrechten, bis zu 8 cm ø großen, goldgelben Blütenständen mit bis zu 130 Einzelblüten

Propagation: Seeds
Pre-Treatment: Sterilize the substrate at about 90°C in the oven
Sowing Time: all year round
Sowing Deep: ca. 0,5 cm
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 18-25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 6-8 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season regularly water + let dry between watering
Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig without phosphate
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: Cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 10-15°C + keep only slightly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C and according to ambient temperature in larger intervals and only to water in small quantities that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures up to -7ºC are well tolerated.
Note: drought-resistant!
