mehrjährige, knollenbildende, krautige, kleine Staude bis zu 25 cm mit grundständigen, rosettenförmig angeordneten, farnähnlich gelappten, bläulich-grünen Blättern. Die röhrenförmigen, violett, rosa, pink, weiß oder roten Blüten erscheinen in aufrechten, traubigen Blütenständen.
