mehrjährige, kleine Zwiebelpflanze mit nur 2 gegenständig angeordneten, leicht überlappenden, bis zu 15 cm langen, niederliegenden, fleischigen, leicht filzigen, mittelgrünen Blättern. Der grundständige Blütenstand besteht aus zahlreichen, kleinen, weißen Blüten, umgeben von großen, grünen Hüllblättern.
