kleiner bis mittelgroßer, zweihäusiger, Baum mit wechselständig angeordneten, elliptischen, ledrigen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern. Die Blüten erscheinen in dichten Büscheln direkt an Stamm und älteren Ästen, gefolgt von fleischigen, bei Reife gelb-orangefarbenen Früchten, die gern von Affen gegessen werden
