Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. Propagation:	Seeds
Pre-Treatment:	Sterilize the substrate at about 90°C in the oven
Sowing Time:	all year round
Sowing Deep:	ca. 0,5 cm
Sowing Mix:	Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature:	ca. 18-25°C
Location:	bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time:	ca. 6-8 weeks
Irrigation:	in the growing season regularly water + let dry between watering
Fertilization:	monthly 0,2%ig without phosphate
Pests:	Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate:	Cactus or potting soil + 2/3 sand or perlite
Culture:	bright at approx. 10-15°C + keep only slightly moist
Overwintering:	Older specimens bright at approx. 5-10°C and according to ambient temperature in larger intervals and only to water in small quantities that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures up to -7ºC are well tolerated.
Note:	drought-resistant!
