Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:
Our shop will remain open until September 30, 2026.
The last day to place an order is September 25, 2026. Please feel free to use this time to secure your favorite seeds one last time.
Processing: All paid orders received by September 25, 2026, will, of course, be processed, packed, and shipped reliably as usual.

immergrüner Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis zu 6 m mit kompakter, rundlicher Krone und grauen Zweigen, wechselständig angeordneten, ledrigen, bis zu 4,5 cm langen und 2,5 cm breiten, elliptischen, tiefgrünen Blättern mit stark zurückgerollten Blatträndern. Die weißen bis gelblich-weißen Blüten erscheinen sowohl in den Blattachseln, als auch am Ende der Triebe und verströmen einen jasminähnlichen Duft

Sowing Instruction
Propagation: Seeds/Cuttings
Pre-Treatment: soak ca. 24 h in lukewarm water
Sowing Time: all year round > spring preferred
Sowing Deep: cover only slightly with substrate
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 25°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 4-8 weeks > irregular
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water + let not dry out between waterings
Fertilization: monthly 0,2%ig with organic fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites, Aphids > especially under glass
Substrate: humus soil + 1/3 clay + 1/3 sand or perlite
Culture: hell bei ca. 20-25°C + konstant feucht halten
Overwintering: Ältere Exemplare hell bei ca. 15ºC mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und immer soviel wässern, daß eine leichte Ballenfeuchtigkeit erhalten bleibt. Niemals völlig austrocknen lassen. Trockenperioden werden nur kurzzeitig vertragen.
Note: salt tolerant! Due to the natural site in coastal regions also waterlogging will tolerated for a short time.
