Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. Synonyme: Laurus burmanii, Cinnamomum pedunculatum
(10 Korn)

immergrüner, dichtbelaubter Strauch oder kleiner Baum bis ca. 7 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, ca. 10 cm langen und 4 cm breiten, ledrigen, länglich-ovalen, spitz zulaufenden, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern und rötlichem Neuaustrieb. Die grünlich-gelben Blüten mit sternförmig angeordneten Petalen erscheinen in Dolden, aus denen sich birnenförmige, dunkelgrüne bis braunrote Beerenfrüchte entwickeln. Die aromatisch duftende, rötliche Rinde wird zur Gewürzgewinnung (Zimt) genutzt

Pre-Treatment: soak ca. 24 h in lukewarm water
Sowing Time: all year round > only fresh seeds germinate reliably
Sowing Deep: ca. 1 cm
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 25-28°C
Location: bright + keep constantly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 3-6 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites, Aphids > especially under glass
Substrate: potting soil + sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 20°C + keep constant slightly moist + high humidity
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at approx. 15-20°C and according to ambient temperature keep slightly moist always. Just pour with warm water!
