immergrüner, hoher Strauch bis zu 2,5 m mit wechselständig oder spiralig angeordneten, linearen bis lanzettlichen, bis zu 12 cm langen und 3 cm breiten, ledrigen, grau-grünen Blättern mit gezähnten Blattspitzen. Die halbkugelförmigen, strahlend gelben Blütenköpfe mit rosafarbenen Spitzen erscheinen einzeln oder in kleinen Gruppen am Ende der Triebe. Diese Pflanzen gelten bereits als stark gefährdet!
