Dear plant and garden enthusiasts,
Over many years, we have had the pleasure of accompanying you on your gardening journey with exotic seed rarities and plants from around the world. Watching things grow together has brought us great joy. But every project has its time—and for us, the moment has come to step back. Due to health reasons, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to permanently close the sunshine-seeds.de online shop and enter our well-deserved retirement. This decision was not an easy one for us. However, our health now requires our full attention. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of loyalty, the trust you have placed in us, and your enthusiasm for our green rarities! Important information regarding the shop closure:
Our shop will remain open until September 30, 2026.
The last day to place an order is September 25, 2026. Please feel free to use this time to secure your favorite seeds one last time.
Processing: All paid orders received by September 25, 2026, will, of course, be processed, packed, and shipped reliably as usual.

immergrüner oder laubabwerfender kleiner Strauch bis ca. 1 m mit hellgrauer Rinde mit wechselständig angeordneten, ca. 12 cm langen Blättern, bestehend aus paarig angeordneten, gefiederten, tiefgrünen Blättchen. Die bis zu 2,5 cm großen weißen oder rosafarbenen, pinselförmigen Blütenköpfe bestehen aus unzähligen roten Staubfäden und erscheinen in den Blattachseln

Sowing Instruction
Propagation: Seeds/Cuttings
Pre-Treatment: pour hot water over the seeds + soak ca. 24 h
Sowing Time: all year round
Sowing Deep: ca. 1 cm
Sowing Mix: Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature: ca. 25°C
Location: bright + keep constant slightly moist, not wet
Germination Time: ca. 1-3 weeks
Irrigation: in the growing season richly water + let dry between watering
Fertilization: biweekly 0,2%ig or long-term fertilizer
Pests: Spider mites > especially under glass
Substrate: cactus or potting soil + 1/3 grit + 1/3 sand or perlite
Culture: bright at approx. 15-20°C + keep constant slightly moist
Overwintering: Older specimens bright at least 10-15°C and according to ambient temperature just so much water that the root ball not dries out completely. Temperatures up to the freezing point will briefly tolerated.
Note: drought-tolerant!
