Acacia trees are hardwoods and mostly in the dry season deciduous shrubs or small trees, which either are equipped with compound, paired arranged, pinnate leaves or phyllodes (flattened and widened petioles) and mainly occur in Australia. The small flowers appear in various shades of yellow, white or cream, dense spherical clusters, spikes, or panicles and consist of numerous stamens that emit mostly an intensive scent.
