laubabwerfender Strauch oder Baum bis zu 15 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, bis zu 7 cm langen und 3 cm breiten, elliptischen bis lanzettlichen, oberseits glänzend tiefgrünen, unterseits, silbrig-weißen Blättern. Die bis zu 3 cm langen, purpurroten zwittrigen Blüten mit leuchtend blauen Staubfäden erscheinen in den Blattachseln. Aus den Blüten entwickeln sich eßbare kleine Beeren

Stratification:	ca. 4-6 weeks in moist sowing mix at 2-5°C in the fridge or unheated greenhouse

Sowing Deep:	Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on
Sowing Mix:	Coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite
Germination Temperature:	ca. 22-25°C
Location:	bright + keep constant slightly moist, not wet
Germination Time:	until germination takes place
Irrigation:	in the growing season regularly water
