immergrüner Strauch oder Baum bis zu 8 m mit gegenständig angeordneten, kurzgestielten, ovalen, glänzend tiefgrünen Blättern. Die kleinen, sternförmigen, duftenden weißen Blüten erscheinen in den Blattachseln, gefolgt von gelb bis lilafarbenen Früchten (Kaffeekirschen). Diese Sorte stammt aus Anbau im Himalaya und ist an kühles Bergklima angepasst

Overwintering:	Ältere Exemplare hell bei ca. 15-20°C und nur soviel gießen, daß der Wurzelballen nicht völlig austrocknet. Tägliches Übersprühen mit temperierten, kalkfreiem Wasser weist sich als günstig auf das Wachstum und gegen Schädlinge, wie dern Spinnmilben aus.
