immergrüner, kleiner Strauch bis ca. 1,5 m mit ausladenden, meist aufrechten Zweigen und kleinen, heidekrautähnlichen, bis zu 0,4 cm länglich ovalen, grau-grünen Blättern. Die hellgelben Blüten mit herausragenden, gelben Staubfäden und Staubbeuteln erscheinen in kleinen, dichten Büscheln am Ende der Triebe
