immegrüner, mehrjähriger Schlinger mit wechselständig angeordneten, herzförmigen, tiefgrünen Blättern. Die bis zu 7 cm langen, bizarren cremefarbenen Blüten mit purpurfarbener Zeichnung und gelbem Zentrum erscheinen in den Blattachseln.
Verwendung: Ein Tee aus der Pflanze wird zur Behandlung von Schlangenbissen verwendet
