starkwüchsiger, dicht behaarter, verholzender Schlinger bis ca. 10 m mit wechselständig angeordneten, ca. 30 cm großen, herzförmigen Blättern, unterseits dicht mit weißen Haaren besetzt. Die langgestielten, bis zu 5 cm großen, trompetenförmigen, außen wollig behaarten, rosa- bis lavendelfarbenen Blüten mit dunklerem Schlund erscheinen in dichten Trugdolden in den Blattachseln
